A play written and directed by Thomas Caruso With Nicolas Truffet, William Valet, Ségolène Marc and Thomas Caruso "Le malade malgré lui", an adaptation of Molière, recounts the improbable meeting of the "Malade Imaginaire" (The Hypochondriac) with the "Médecin Malgré Lui" (the Doctor in Spite of Himself).
A refreshing adaptation of two of Molière's major works combined into one new one. The story of the inevitable meeting of a sick man who is not really sick and a doctor who is not really a doctor, a merry anachronistic romp in the style of Monty Python, a troubling analogy with our times, when no one is really who they say they are but everyone ends up convincing themselves that they are, a zany adventure that blasts classical theatre to remind us that appearances often take precedence over reality.
