Montchavin-Les Coches ski instructors put on a show for the patron saint. Then there's the not-to-be-missed blessing of the instructors' skis by a bishop who learned to ski at Montchavin...

The tradition continues, and every 1st Wednesday in February, Saint Agathe is celebrated in our resort.

Starting at 3pm in the main street:
* Wood carving
* Walking stick
* Wooden games
* Brass band
* Various entertainments

4pm to 5:30pm: FACIM tour of the village of Montchavin
7.30am to 6.15pm: Mass at Chapelle Sainte Agathe

From 6.15pm on the Montchavin snow front:
* Fanfare
* Giant illuminated puppets
* Torchlight descent
* Blessing of skis and instructors
* Tasting of local produce
* Fireworks
