Through their work, Eve Pietruschi and Marguerite Soulier weave a dialogue between memory, materials and the local region. Inspired by traditional skills, artisanal techniques and vernacular forms, they create new narratives.
Through her exploration of Neolithic cup-marked stones, Eve Pietruschi evokes an imaginary world situated at the intersection of cosmogony, archaeological remains and celestial cartography. Her repoussé metalwork shapes symbolic landscapes where the past resonates with the present.
Marguerite Soulier has developed a technique that combines installation, textiles and colour. As an artist and shepherdess, she pays special attention to patterns, traditional craft techniques and simple materials, wool in particular, which she gives new life in her gentle, evocative works.
This exhibition offers an encounter between two worlds where matter becomes language and acts of creation rekindle deep connections between man, nature and collective narratives.
