Zero Waste on the Mountain operation | The big waste collection

Join us on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at La Plagne to take part in our
OPERATION: ZERO WASTE MOUNTAINS!
Because mountains are the starting point of the water cycle: polluting the mountains has a huge impact on the entire chain.
Our aim? To take care of our mountains, to better understand them, and to take action to reduce waste at source.

The day will be divided into 2 parts:
- The big spring collection | 8:30am - 12:30pm (registration required)
- The "Remballes tes déchets" villages | Starting at 12pm

THE BIG SPRING COLLECTION

- 8.15am shuttle departure from Provagnes
-9 a.m. departure (choice of: Plagne Centre - Montchavin-les Coches - Montalbert - Champagny-en-Vanoise -Aime)
- 9:30am departure for pick-up
- 11:00 a.m. end of collection & return to Aime
- 11:30am waste characterization with Mountain Riders
- 12:30-13:00 lunch for volunteers (registration required)

Morning followed by a village of activities and awareness-raising in Aime: catering, refreshments, activities & games, workshop and awareness-raising stand, punctuated by lectures and a show.

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT
To reduce waste, please bring your own gardening gloves and shopping bags,
to participate.
If you don't have your own, we'll make up the rest.
We advise you to equip yourselves with sneakers, mountain boots, fleece, cap, sunglasses, sun cream & water bottle!

SHUTTLES AND CARPOOLING
Shuttles will be available from the valley to Montalbert, Les Coches and Plagne Centre.
