Mountain Biking Tour, Route-E – The 4 Hamlets
Depart from: Champagny

A route on the edge of le Parc National de la Vanoise – a designated area of outstanding natural beauty!
From Champagny, take the access road to Champagny le Haut. After about 4 km, the road begins to enter the valley, on the left-hand side to begin with and then – from the hamlet of La Chizerette – on the right, through the campsite and on to the hamlets of Friburge and Laisonnay. After enjoying the peace and tranquillity of these beautiful places, follow the road a few hundred meters to join the path to Friburge, which will take you to the hamlet of Le Bois and further to La Chiserette before bringing you back to the starting point. Return to Champagny by road.

Highlights
The valley of Champagny le Haut is an exceptional natural setting with a unique heritage. The Espace Glacialis (museum of the glaciers) in the hamlet of Le Bois is well worth a visit.
