Joannès's house in the centre of the village of Montméry on the Versant du Soleil has been opened up to the general public. Joannès, a history enthusiast and former resident of the village has brought back to life the objects that shaped his childhood, as well as those of his parents and grandparents.
The objects of daily life, furniture and work tools will all give you an insight into the lives of the people who lived here at the start of the last century.
