In the grand tradition of cabaret, Jean-Michel Matteï uses current events to create a really fun show. Imitations, sketches and songs offer a moment of laughter in a mad world.
Jean-Michel Mattei mixes the cultures of Corsica, where he spent his holidays with his mother's family, and Haute-Savoie and Geneva, where he grew up and now lives.
With an acute sense of observation, the comedian borrows character traits to fuel his sketches: the Corsican grandfather commenting on events on the island, the Savoyard talking about Parisians on their annual ski holiday in Courchevel, ‘It's a good thing Parisians come here to explain our own home to us! Or the chef Marc Veyrat... Jean-Michel Mattei is back with new characters. After bringing to life the caricatures that made him famous, he now presents his audience with a series of new impersonations and characters who are very present in current affairs. He expresses his ideas through a wide repertoire of voices, and twists current events with finesse. His generosity and talent have made him a rising star among comedians. A rare show with songs, imitations and sketches. Come and discover Jean-Michel Mattei and enjoy some laughter therapy. Musician: PhilBouvier
