A researcher in meta-science and a cyclist, Barthélémy Champenois has lost his thoughtlessness. It all started the day he opened a letter from Air France, offering to offset the CO2 emissions from his flight to New York.
He has opted to turn down the offer and take care of it himself, only to find himself caught up in a mad dash to offset the carbon, that sends him far beyond the limits of absurdity.
We follow him in his quest for truth, through his calculations, his doubts, his scientific explanations and his madness, that leave him suspended between a past that he cannot change and a future that seems difficult to avoid. Barthélémy seeks his path, through inner transformation, individual, collective, militant and political action, to find the levers that are within his reach.
