The ski slopes start from the gondola in La Plagne Montalbert (1,250 metres above sea level, a village and family resort that is part of the La Plagne area), less than 5 minutes away by car or free shuttle (shuttle bus stop is just 300 metres from the gite).
You will have access to more than 200 km of ski runs.
There is also a wide range of other activities: dog sledging, snowshoeing, the Olympic bobsleigh track and cross-country skiing, as well as walks in the countryside or heritage visits...
Montalbert offers several shops and restaurants ranging from typically Alpine to gastronomic!
La Plagne Montalbert is part of the Paradiski ski area, as are the resorts of Montchavin, Les Coches, Plagne Soleil, Plagne Village, Belle Plagne, Aime 2000, Champagny, Vallandry, and Les Arcs.
Aime La Plagne TGV train station is 6 kilometres from the village of Longefoy.
The 2 nearest airports are Geneva and Lyon - Saint Exupéry: allow about 2 hours for the transfer.
