La Plagne is actively involved in the ecological transition process, and has been awarded the Flocon Vert label by the Mountain Riders association. The label is based on a stringent set of standards that enable us to assess the area on a sustainable basis, structure the actions to be taken and propose concrete avenues for improvement.
This dynamic is supported collectively by the main local players:
- the communes of Aime-la-Plagne, La Plagne Tarentaise and Champagny-en-Vanoise,
- the communities of communes of Versants d'Aime and Val Vanoise,
- the Syndicat intercommunal de la Grande Plagne,
- the Grande Plagne Tourist Office,
- and the Société d'Aménagement de La Plagne.
Charter of Committed Players
In La Plagne, many professionals are involved on a daily basis in providing a quality welcome, while respecting the environment and promoting local resources.
The Charte des Acteurs Engagés highlights these positive initiatives. This approach aims to :
- highlight responsible players,
- encourage exchanges and synergies between them,
- support them in their sustainable actions.
