The "Accord'Aime" choir has been in existence since 2001. It is led by Véronique Repplinger and has some 50 members (tenor, soprano, alto and bass), who are all choir music enthusiasts. The choir is open to anyone who loves to sing in the shower.
In 2022, with assistance from the COVA, we organised a concert tour in the local towns and villages, that we called our "tournichantons". The tour covered the upper Tarentaise valley and we enjoyed the opportunity to share our love of singing with our audiences.
Every year, our choir leader proposes a new programme, keeping the songs that represent us the best.
We are currently looking for basses and young singers of all ranges. Our choir director helps us to improve with a lot of discipline and good humour.
We also like to get together for a meal as often as possible.
In 2023/2034, we were lucky enough to be invited to Como in Italy to take part in a festival.
Come and join us! All it takes is a call. You do not need to be able to read music! We rehearse on Tuesdays at 7.45pm in Aime cinema/theatre, singing Baroque, Renaissance and classical songs, traditional mountain songs, excerpts from operas such as La Traviata, requiems, etc.
