HBC Aime Tarentaise Vanoise handball club
From 01/01 to 31/12 daily.
The club was created on May 3rd, 2007 by handball enthusiasts and was called the HBC AIME LA PLAGNE until 2012.
During the first year, only two teams took part in the departmental championships; senior girls and senior boys.
As the seasons went on, the club took on volunteer trainers, so it was able to create more groups and the handball school, certified in 2011 by the Comité de Savoie.
The groups are making technical progress and new players join every season.
For several seasons now, young players have been selected for the Comité de Savoie teams, where they have enjoyed rewarding sports experiences in the Inter-Comités competition.
Others have joined the handball section of their schools and some of them are currently playing at a high level in Savoie clubs.
The dynamism, the will to grow and the values upheld by the HBC Aime Tarentaise Vanoise have gained the confidence and support of the commune.
In 2017/2018, there were 150 HBC Aime Tarentaise Vanoise licence-holders in eight groups, seven of which participate in departmental or regional competition.
