Members of AN Rafting's team of state-certified guides will soon have you navigating your way down La Haute Isère, a Mecca for white-water sports in Europe. Available courses: 7, 16 and 23 kilometres – the longest white-water descent in France!
The Isère, one of the most beautiful rivers in the Alps, invites you to experience an incredible descent, during which you'll ride the famous rapids of Aime – 'la salle à manger' [the Dining Room], 'la machine à couper le Jambon' [the meat slicer], and 'le Dessert' [dessert] – and discover the magnificent Gorges of Centron and the Roman Bridge. As a family, on your own or in a group, this river offers a range of thrills and unforgettable memories to suit all tastes and for all ages!

Anyone over the age of 8, who can swim, can enjoy the discovery course. The minimum age for all other rafting descents is 12. To ensure your safety, a state-certified guide will accompany you during the descent.

The choice is yours:

Rafting down the Centron Gorges 7 km
Get your first taste of rafting and experience the thrills of riding the white water as you descend through the Gorges de Centron, a 7 km course. This hour-long descent is an excellent 'baptism' for anyone new to the rafting experience. Set sail for seven kilometres of discovery in a breathtaking mineral setting far from roads and habitation.
This rafting course is accessible to anyone over 8 years old who can swim. You will be supervised by a state-certified white-water guide, and all technical equipment will be provided (vest, neoprene trousers and boots, life jacket and helmet). Bring your own bathing suit and towel.

The Isère rafting descent sensation
The 23-kilometre rafting descent sensation of La Haute-Isère (from Bourg Saint-Maurice to Centron) is a lively, sporty version of the full descent. The activities that our guides introduce throughout the descent are not only aimed at making it more thrilling but also great fun! This rafting descent is open to anyone over the age of 12 who knows how to swim. You will be supervised by a state-certified white-water guide, and all technical equipment will be provided (vest, neoprene trousers and boots, life jacket and helmet). .

16-kilometre rafting trip down the Isère
The 16-kilometre rafting trip down the Isère river is either from Bourg Saint-Maurice to Aime or from Bellentre to Centron (depending on the chosen schedule), but you'll definitely pass through the rapids of Aime – part of the world championship canoe/kayak course. An unforgettable experience that we offer 3 times a day!
The trip is open to anyone aged 12 or older who can swim. You will be supervised by a state-certified white-water guide, and all technical equipment will be provided (vest, neoprene trousers and boots, life jacket and helmet). Bring your own bathing suit and towel.

Full River Isère rafting descent, 23 kilometres
The full, 23-kilometre, rafting descent of the Haute-Isère extends from Bourg Saint-Maurice to Centron – the longest rafting descent in France! You will make your way through the famous rapids of Aime and the magnificent gorges of Centron!
The experience is open to anyone aged 12 or older who can swim. You will be supervised by a state-certified white-water guide, and all technical equipment will be provided (vest, neoprene trousers and boots, life jacket and helmet).
