Designed for authentic mountain lovers, the Trail de la Vélière offers a demanding and atypical route, with 1,860 m of positive vertical drop, alternating between ridges, mountain pastures and grandiose panoramas.
After setting off from the Centre-Station, runners quickly climb towards Mont de la Guerre, up to the Bozelet chalet. They then continue with a superb ascent leading to the summit of Pointe de la Vélière. This is followed by a magnificent ridge passage to the Col de la Bauche de Mio, before plunging down into the Champagny-le-Haut valley and concluding the race with a beautiful descent to Champagny-le-Bas.
Distance: 30 km - 2,000 m elevation gain
A 15.8 km route is also available. More rolling and faster, it is nonetheless spectacular and allows you to discover all the beauty and wild character of the Champagny area.
