Paragliding in summer

Philippe and Sébastien, Our two state-certified instructors, Philippe and Sébastien, share a passion for free flight and the great outdoors. They’ll share this passion with you, creating lasting memories throughout your tandem paragliding experience.

Introductory flight (10–12 minutes):
Would you like to try paragliding for the first time, or rediscover it? The introductory flight offers a gentle and enjoyable experience in the air!
ELPRO offers a calm and gentle first-time paragliding experience lasting 10 to 12 minutes.
The take-off point is situated between La Plagne resort and the valley, near the village of Prariond, between bends 9 and 10.

After a gentle take-off, you’ll soar 700 metres above the winding roads leading up to La Plagne, our majestic forests and the Aime Valley. Gaze down from the air at the Mont Blanc and Beaufortain massifs. This tandem paragliding baptism is your chance to fly amidst the most beautiful mountain ranges of the Haute Tarentaise and Savoie.

Savour the sensation of lightness and freedom, and take the controls under the guidance and supervision of your instructor, who holds a State Paragliding Certificate.
Head to the historic village of Macôt-la-Plagne for a gentle landing amidst fields and apple trees.
Thanks to our two pilots, you can enjoy a flight as a couple or with your family.

Transport is arranged to take you back up from Macôt-la-Plagne to the hamlet of Prariond.


Discovery flight - first flight - Adults or children from 5 years old = 90€.
Conditions
- This first flight can be experienced by anyone aged 5 to 99!
- Activity subject to weather and aerological conditions (climate and wind). Flights may be postponed in case of bad weather (instructors' decision).
- You can book online or directly in our Belle Plagne shop
- In order to take off in good conditions, please be at the departure point 15 minutes before the meeting time
- Weight limit for a first flight: 90-95kg maximum
- Comfortable clothing adapted to the weather: trainers or hiking boots and windproof jacket

Horizon flight (15 - 25 minutes):

This flight will offer you an exceptional view of the ski area and the most beautiful peak in the Tarentaise.
Horizon flight - Adults or children aged 12 and over = 140€.

- Flight accessible to anyone aged 12 to 99!
- Weight limit for the flight: 90-95kg maximum
- Booking online or directly in our shop in Belle Plagne is mandatory
- Activity subject to weather and aerological conditions (climate and wind). Flights may be postponed in case of bad weather (instructors' decision).
- In order to take off in good conditions, please be at the departure point 15 minutes before the meeting time

Mountain flying:
Do you want to experience the thrill of paragliding?
If you have already tried a paragliding flight and/or want a longer flight, you can join us for a tandem paragliding flight at higher altitude.
The mountain flight is a flight in active air conditions where your pilot will look for the ascending currents in order to go higher in altitude and fly like the birds.

From Belle Plagne, we will take you to the Col de L'Arpette in our 4X4, offering an opportunity to observe the superb panorama that awaits you: the Col du Petit Saint Bernard, the Mont Blanc massif, the Beaufortain massif and the Foran valley with the fabulous Pierra Menta!

This tandem flight takes off in the early or late afternoon. You take off for a 30 to 45 minute "sporty" flight with an unobstructed view of the peaks surrounding the La Plagne ski area. Enjoy the magnificent colours of the end of the day over the Tarentaise valley from the air.

You will have the opportunity to take the controls during the flight, under the guidance of your qualified paragliding instructor. If you want, you can also ask for some aerobatics to really get a rush of adrenaline.
We organise the return transport.
