At an elevation of 1,850 meters, the Chalet du Bois Melay is nestled among the fir trees in the village of La Plagne 1800, just 400 m from the Paradiski ski area’s slopes (a 5-minute walk along a forest path, or via the free shuttle bus, which stops 50 m from the chalet). The village’s shops and restaurants are just a 200-meter walk away. A quiet, wooded location—yet never isolated.

A chalet perfect for large gatherings

Spanning 320 m² across 4 levels, the chalet accommodates up to 15 guests in 7 en-suite bedrooms (5 with shower rooms, 2 master bedrooms with bathtubs and double sinks). Each bedroom has its own balcony or terrace with a view of the forest or the mountain peaks, as well as a television. It’s the perfect space to comfortably accommodate several families, a large group of friends, or a team on a business trip—without ever getting in each other’s way.

A wellness area rarely found on this scale in La Plagne

The garden level is entirely dedicated to relaxation: a 6 x 3 m heated indoor pool with a view of the pine trees, an infrared sauna, a fully equipped gym (treadmill, rowing machine, weight bench), a shower, and restrooms. Everything you need to alternate between skiing and recovery without ever leaving the chalet.

Living spaces designed for gathering

The large living room, with its cathedral ceiling featuring exposed beams and a fireplace with three glass-enclosed sides, opens onto a library nook and a tuned upright piano. The open kitchen and its convertible table (seating 10 to 15 depending on the configuration) make it easy to enjoy all meals together. A movie theater with a video projector, a foosball table, and a pinball machine round out the common areas, which are especially popular with children and large groups alike.

A turnkey stay

The chalet can be rented for accommodations only or with meals (half-board or full-board, featuring local Savoyard products). Linens, made-up beds, and end-of-stay cleaning are included. The chalet is managed by Pointe de Sel, an agency specializing in high-end chalet rentals in Savoie.
