Film d'en Haut – VIA ALPINA In the Footsteps of the Pioneering Women

From July to November 2023, Zoé walked the entire Alpine arc solo and on foot, meeting women professionals of the mountains: refuge wardens, high-mountain guides, climbers, rescue workers, ski champions, and shepherdesses. Along this 2,150 km journey across 8 countries, Zoé documents her encounters, gives visibility to women who still lack recognition in a predominantly male mountain environment, and shares her reflections on fear, solitude, the transformation of mountain landscapes in the face of climate change, as well as her own identity as a woman walking alone in the natural world.
