Film from Above - After the Glaciers
Watch the film *After the Glaciers*, a reflection on the future of the Alpine regions and the preservation of ecosystems in the face of glacial retreat.
Thursday 14 January 2027 between 8.30 pm and 10 pm.
What will happen once the glaciers have disappeared? All over the world, they are inevitably retreating due to climate change, giving way to pristine areas where nature could reclaim its rightful place—but which are also coveted for mining, agriculture, and tourism.
*After the Glaciers* features scientists, elected officials, athletes, and artists who are coming together in the Alps to create—for the first time through a citizen-led initiative—a protected post-glacial area. It’s an ambitious and inspiring initiative to safeguard these key ecosystems and envision a desirable future for them.
Film runtime: 52 min
