Concert: The Crooked Nails | Live in Champagny!

THE CROOKED NAILS was formed at the end of 2019, initially bringing together Roméo (double bass, backing vocals) and Laurent (vocals, guitars, percussion), before being joined in 2022 by Olivier (harmonicas, percussion, backing vocals).
Nourished by their shared taste for ‘old-time’ North American music, the fruit of a fascinating mix of their traditional Amerindian, African and European origins, the three musicians decided to continue the journey and the sonic cross-fertilisation by appropriating a part of the heritage to enrich it with their own modest contribution and the echoes of the landscapes where they live, where the deserts are called ‘Aubrac’ and the canyons ‘Gorges de la Truyère’.
The group settled in on stage during the special year of 2020 and, in the light of the enthusiastic reception they received from the public, they are continuing their journey, determined to share their universe with as many people as possible. The group's debut album, EVERYTHING LOOKS LIKE A NAIL, was released in March 2023.
