Xplore Alpes Festival | Dare or Don't Dare & The Tallest Women in the World
The Xplore Alpes Festival is coming to the Côte d'Aime! Two films will be screened.
Sunday 25 October 2026 from 6 pm.
Dare or Not - 24 min
Born without a right hand and a four-time world champion, Solenne Piret climbs with astonishing fluidity. She takes on the legendary Grand Capucin in the Mont Blanc massif. Despite her preparation, doubt sets in.
The World’s Highest Women - 51 min
In 1959, a team of women defied prejudice and conquered the peaks of the Himalayas. Thanks to footage shot by one of the climbers and the testimony of the last surviving member, this forgotten expedition regains its place in the history of mountaineering and feminism.
