Put on your snowshoes with an ESF instructor to explore the valley, a cup of tea in hand, and discuss how glaciology gave rise to winter sports.
A hike accessible to all, rich in discoveries where you can observe ibexes in their natural habitat and soak up the landscapes of the Vanoise massif.
As an extra, the walk can be followed by a talk entitled ‘Glaciers, white gold for tourism?’ at the Glacialis centre, an interpretation centre dedicated to the discovery of mountain glaciers.
