Champagny-en-Vanoise invites you to a conference on tourism, risk and the mountains. What are the prospects in the face of climate change?
Thursday 06 February | 8.30pm
Conference :
Tourism, risk and mountains. What are the prospects in the face of climate change?
Climate change is now a directly perceptible reality. It is a global phenomenon from which no one can escape, and it is in the mountains that it is - and will be - most marked. How can we avoid a runaway effect by making a successful transition to a low-carbon world in good time?
By Vincent Koulinski, Doctor of Geosciences specialising in mountain torrential risks. He has been working in France's mountain ranges for over 30 years.
