Film d'en Haut - Not Afraid of Happiness
Champagny-en-Vanoise invites you to discover the inspiring journey of Oscar Burnham, a young athlete who turns adversity into strength through the mountains and sport.
Not Afraid of Happiness
At 18, Oscar Burnham loses his left hand in an accident that turns his life upside down. Between rehabilitation and rebuilding, he finds new strength through sport—climbing, the mountains, and eventually para alpine skiing. Not Afraid of Happiness traces this journey of resilience, from his entry into the French national team and his Paralympic dream to an adventure in Norway where effort, freedom, and friendship come together. Along the way, Oscar invites us into a quest for balance, self-transcendence, and rediscovered joy.
