Our team of pilots are passionate about paragliding and have exceptional experience, with a rare combination of skills in all areas of flying: paragliding (acrobatics, distance, precision, free-ride, freestyle), airplanes, helicopters, gliders, hang gliders, sky diving…

They include:

• Denis Verchère, an airplane and helicopter pilot and a pioneer who was the first person to cross the English Channel on a tandem paraglider, accompanied by an eagle. Denis also created the first educational game on the safety aspects of paragliding, called 'Parapente Poursuite'.
• Bertrand Roche, alias “Zebulon”, the first person to take off from the top of Everest and K2 on a tandem paraglider.

AIR La Plagne is the only structure in La Plagne and in the Tarentaise to propose top-level paragliding acrobatics, for unique but controlled thrills. Every flight is tailor-made to combine emotion, performance and absolute safety.

You can find us at the top of the Grande Rochette, one of the most beautiful panoramic spots in the Alps, accessible via the Funiplagne from Plagne Centre.
