La Rossa snowshoeing itinerary
Meet at the top of the moutain !
Start at the top of Champagny gondola (alt. 1970 m) and take pleasure from the view over Vanoise glaciers.
Subject to favorable snow and weather conditions.
Access by the gondola (ticket to be bought at the skipass desk).
It is a trail in altitude to practise with snowshoes (walking sticks or ski sticks are recommended).
It is higher in altitude: snow cover may be significant. Do not take the itinerary after a heavy snowfall or on a foggy day. It is forbidden to walk on ski slopes. Beware of the skiers if you walk alongside ski slopes.
Duration: 1:30 hour outward and return.
In case you're hungry, a restaurant awaits you at the arrival!
