Itinerary through undergrowth leading to the hamlet of Châtelard, with panoramic views. Accessible on foot or snowshoes (depending on snow conditions) from Champagny le Bas.

From the hamlet "Villard Dessus", take the path that rises on the right to the forest till the locality "Le Châtelard" (alt:1500m). Beautiful landscape. Total duration: 2.30. Return by the same way.
Variation: return via Les Combes (beware of crossing the ski slope) then La Traye and arrival at Planchamp. Duration: 3h and 3km (loop)
