Tou is the story of an encounter, a confluence, a friendship between Marianne Girard andJulie D-Facy, between you and us, between some of the hits you hear on the radio and an original folk-style composition.
It's a musical game where everything is done as a duo! Writing, describing our lives, our moments of grace, our vulnerabilities and our strengths: all set to music to highlight what makes us human. T O U is two voices having fun, enjoying the sounds and melodies of our times. Accompanied by a guitar, a banjo, a bodhran, a harmonium found in an attic or other pocket instruments... these melodies become facetious and emotional... T O U is a little bit you, a little bit us, a moment of sharing, emotions and musicality. Have we whetted your appetite? We hope so, because music is like cooking: the best part is sharing!
