Certification for sustainable tourism
Since 2016, La Plagne has been committed to a Quality approach through the award and successive renewals of the Marque Qualité Tourisme.
In 2019, the destination has structured itself to move forward with an ecological transition approach. The SIGP, the communes of La Plagne Tarentaise, Aime-la-Plagne and Champagny-en-Vanoise, the Communauté de Communes de Versants d'Aime, the Office de Tourisme de la Grande Plagne and the Société d'Aménagement de la Plagne are working together with the aim of reducing the impact of their activities, preserving the natural resources of our mountains and enabling residents and workers to continue to live well in the area.

Destination d'Excellence
Since May 2024, this label has replaced the Qualité Tourisme mark. The aim of the overhaul is to create a single national tool, enshrined in the Tourism Code, to certify the quality of all aspects of France's tourism offering.
In addition to the issue of quality of welcome, which is of particular concern to the sector in the run-up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games, this label will raise the bar in terms of eco-responsibility and information for the disabled, in line with the objectives of the Destination France Plan.
The new Destination d'excellence label aims to enhance quality across the whole range of the tourism offer: accommodation, catering, visitor and leisure facilities, tourist information points (tourist offices in particular) and transport.
Famille Plus
In La Plagne, two villages have been awarded the Famille Plus label: Montchavin - Les Coches & Montalbert. This label guarantees 6 commitments for a successful holiday, whatever the size of your tribe:

- Events adapted to all ages
- From the youngest to the oldest: a price to suit everyone
- A wide choice of activities to enjoy together or individually
- A full range of shops and services at your fingertips
- Children pampered by our professionals

Label Tourisme et Handicap
How can we better meet the needs of disabled customers?
The Tourisme et Handicap (Tourism and Disability) label is a way of meeting the needs of all people, whatever their disability: motor, visual, hearing or mental. Accessibility of tourist facilities and services, reception and information, safety.
Each sector has its own standards: accommodation, catering, leisure, etc.
