From the cable car departure station, the route takes a short-cut along the piste at Bois (the ski slope in winter). The gradient quickly becomes steeper a succession of sharp ramps cross the trail at several points. You then join a path to the right that plunges into the forest and winds up through the valley and come out below the cable car station. Take the metal stairs up the side of the building (the picnic room) to the platform in front of the station. Descend by the same route or take the cable car when it’s operating (opening times available from tourist office).
