This site is located at the pass of La Grande Marianne, 25 minutes from the refuge in the direction of the Col des Galinettes and the refuge du Gd Bec. This site currently offers 3 routes. A 4th route is under construction.
Access via Champagny-le-Haut, starting from the hamlet of Le Bois
High mountain rock climbing (major routes) in the area of the Plan des Gouilles refuge (2347m) > 2h30 walk from the Le Bois car park.

EQUIPMENT:
The first pitches of these routes can be used as windmills. Descend by abseiling or on foot.

Well-put together but very steep route
Abseiling possible: 50m rope
Descent on foot: 30m rope is enough (recommended)
Equipment: 10/12 quickdraws - 50m rope if abseiling - 30m rope if descending on foot, i.e. a return to the foot of the route in 10 minutes.

2 pitches of 5b with 1 pitch of 5c (L2). Continuous difficulties
L1: ideal for moulinette
Abseiling possible: 50 m rope
Descent on foot (recommended) with a short 15m abseil - 30m rope
Equipment: 10/12 quickdraws
Return to the foot of the route in 5 minutes.

2 pitches in 5b with 2 steps in 5c. L2 shared with BALOU route
L1: ideal for moulinette
Abseiling down the route possible: 50 m rope
Descent on foot (recommended) with a short abseil of 15 m - rope of
30m
Equipment: 10/12 quickdraws
