Eager to build on the legacy of the Tour de France, La Plagne is organizing the first edition of L'Échappée Plagnarde, a cycling event dedicated to road racing.
The event is an untimed ride on public roads, featuring three routes suited to different skill levels, two of which are particularly challenging. This new event is part of the French Cycling Federation’s calendar. L’Échappée Plagnarde celebrates the joy of cycling, exploring the region and the iconic landscapes of the Tarentaise, as well as camaraderie and shared experiences—all without a competitive spirit.
The race starts at 8:30 a.m. from Les Provagnes (in the town of La Plagne Tarentaise), followed by a lively and festive finish in Plagne Villages.
Participants may ride an e-bike.
