💖Adopt good behavior
- Leave your vehicle in the parking areas provided for the event.
- Respect the pedestrian access paths to the site. Don't stray from the paths, or take shortcuts (a walker who cuts the laces saves a little time, hundreds of walkers represent a major factor in erosion).
- Respect the flora and fauna.
- Bring back your garbage, don't throw anything away. DO NOT THROW VEGETABLES INTO THE NATURE (hermetically-sealed boxes are available at the tourist office).
- Keep your dog under control and on a leash.
- Respect fences and grassed areas.
🧢Recommended equipment
- Good climbing shoes, warm clothing and rain gear.
- Hat or cap, sunglasses and sunscreen.
- Water, cereal bars or dried fruit.
- A charged cell phone.
- First-aid kit.
- Possibly a pair of walking sticks.
🚸Information for local residents
- If possible, avoid all travel on July 20 and 25.
- For professionals: deliveries to be made at altitude (very difficult on July 19 and 24, impossible on July 20 and 25).
- Anticipate going up to La Plagne on the days of the event to get to work (very likely to be regulated by the gendarmerie ahead of the announced times).
- Parking at altitude: dedicated parking lots for the socio-professionals of Plagne Villages, Plagne Soleil and Plagne Centre have been identified at altitude to compensate for the reservation of the usual parking lots, mobilized for the event.
- Montée de La Plagne: barriers are installed at each intersection to ensure safe passage of the races (additional marshals at these points on D-day). These barriers are to be placed and removed by residents for their own access. We strongly recommend that you put up your own signs around your home to reserve your parking spaces.
