Family Canoe-Rafting "Itineraries for families and teenagers"

A direct offshoot of the canoe-kayak, a canoe-raft (also called a hot-dog) is a very small, 2-seat raft.

After enjoying the river on a raft, supervised by your river guide, you will learn to steer your boat. This activity needs some practice, so before you throw yourselves into the rapids, you start with a session on the lake to learn paddling and safety techniques.

To perfect your white water sports technique, you will do river navigation exercises, turning the canoe, surfing and broaching.

PREREQUISITE: YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM 25 METRES AND GO UNDERWATER
EQUIPMENT TO BRING: swimming costume and towel
EQUIPMENT PROVIDED: long wetsuit, neoprene jacket and shoes, life jacket, helmet and paddle
