Imagine the scene… you and your friends have been dreaming of enjoying a chilled day off together. Well, we know two perfect places to do just that: the Versants d’Aime and Centron leisure parks, both close to Aime in the valley, offer a little Alpine-style dolce vita. Follow the guide!
Versants d’Aime leisure park
Just a few kilometres east of Aime, the Versants d’Aime leisure park is accessible either by car or on foot or bicycle along the “green” path. The lake, just next to the Isère river, has a lifeguard on duty throughout the summer season and a beach for your little ones. The park has picnic tables and American-style barbecues and you can go to the snack-bar for an ice-cream. There is no lack of activities to choose from: canoeing or kayaking, paddle boarding, canopy trails, bungee trampoline, zorb balls and a children’s play area… or how about playing petanque or molkky?
Centron leisure park
A few kilometres west of Aime, you will find Centron leisure park just next to Montgirod. The lake is the starting point for three theme trails (botanical, ecological, geological), as well as being the meeting point for white water descents. Le Chalet snack-bar holds regular concerts and evening events and you can organise your own barbecue party by the lake.
