Situated in the heart of the Tarentaise valley, at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, Champagny-en-Vanoise is an ideal location for a photo competition.
This 2nd edition celebrates the richness of nature and highlights know-how and tradition in partnership with the Vanoise National Park.

We invite photographers to capture the essence on the Champagny-en-Vanoise territory through images that illustrate its many facets.
This free Champagny-en-Vanoise photo competition is open to all photographers:

Competition schedule
From June 28: start of the competition during Festiv'été.
On the website, activate the link for each theme to submit your photos.
August 11 at 11:59pm: photo contest closes.
August 19: announcement of competition results on International Photography Day.
Exhibition
From August 19 to 28 (every day except Saturday) from 5pm to 7pm at the Centre's exhibition hall, exhibition of all the winning photos and projection of all the participants' shots.
Three themes
- Pastoralism and grazing: this is the International Year of Pastoralism, with a focus on know-how and tradition.
- Water: in connection with the "Site Rivières Sauvages" label awarded to the Remous torrent in January 2026, one of the few watercourses in France to retain an entirely natural course. The water theme highlights waterfalls, rivers, streams, mountain lakes, glaciers...
- The emblematic animals of the Vanoise: Immortalize the unique fauna of the Vanoise, where chamois, marmots and eagles embody the wild, unspoiled spirit of this remarkable natural environment.

Practical info
- An online public vote will determine the "Coup de Cœur" photo.
- Only one entry per person is permitted.
