Located in the heart of the Tarentaise Valley, at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, Champagny-en-Vanoise is the perfect setting for a photography contest.
This second edition aims to celebrate the richness of nature and highlight local expertise and tradition in partnership with the Vanoise National Park.
We invite photographers to capture the essence of the Champagny-en-Vanoise region through images that illustrate its many facets.

Contest Schedule
Starting June 28: The contest begins during Festiv’été.
On the website, links for each theme will be activated so you can submit your photos.
August 11 at 11:59 PM: photo contest closes.
August 19: Announcement of the contest results during International Photography Day.
Exhibition
August 19–28 (every day except Saturday) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Center’s exhibition hall: exhibition of all the winners’ photos and screening of all the participants’ photos.
Three Themes
- Pastoralism and pastures, in honor of the International Year of Pastoralism, highlighting traditional knowledge and heritage. Participate
- Water: in connection with the “Site Rivières Sauvages” designation in January 2026 for the Remous torrent, one of the few waterways in France to retain a fully natural flow. The water theme highlights waterfalls, rivers, streams, mountain lakes, glaciers… Participate
- The Vanoise’s iconic animals: Capture the unique wildlife of the Vanoise, where chamois, marmots, and eagles embody the wild and unspoiled spirit of this remarkable natural environment. Participate

Practical Information
- An online public vote will determine the "People's Choice" photo.
- Only one entry per person is allowed.
