La Plagne is a wonderful playground, where champions in many disciplines flourish. Discover and follow them online, and at major sporting events: their talent feeds on your encouragement! And in many cases, it was hatched within the La Plagne sports club!
Léo Ducros, the rising star
Alpine, speed and giant skiing
A member of the same group as the Chevrier sisters at the Club des Sports, Léo shares the same passion for skiing and the resort, of course, but also a solid friendship forged through training sessions and competition venues shared from an early age. Versatile from the outset, Léo nevertheless has a preference and the "ad hoc" size for the giant and speed specialties. After a faultless career with the Comité de Savoie and the French national team since 2020, Léo joined the Federation in 2021, then the European Cup speed group (group B). He competed in his first World Cup event in 2024 in the Super G at Bormio (Italy). Every season, Léo continues his ascent in the world of top-level skiing.

Ollie Davies, the british "frog
Freestyle skiing, skicross
One of four siblings, Ollie began skiing at the age of two at Montchavin - Les Coches. Twice a year, this London family enjoys a vacation in La Plagne. Particularly fond of the area, Ollie's parents decided to move to Montchavin for good. Ollie is eight years old and there's no turning back: he, his brother and his two sisters will never leave the Tarentaise. A keen skier, Ollie joined the Club des Sports de Montchavin - Les Coches. As time went by, his desire to specialize in skicross became clearer, and when he arrived at the FIS, this Plagnard athlete of British nationality joined the British team. It is under the joint colors of the Union Jack and the Red Bonnet that he will take part in the Beijing Olympic Games in February 2022.

Tess Ledeux, the fighter
Freestyle skiing, slopestyle and big air
While the elite of women's freestyle skiing are often in their late twenties, there are youngsters with a thirst for victory who train hard in the hope of changing the game. Such is the case of Tess Ledeux, who became French slopestyle ski champion at just 15 years of age. Noted for her ease and commitment, which are on a par with, if not better than, the level of male athletes her age, Tess was soon playing in the big leagues. With her cousin Kevin Rolland, she shares the same thirst for victory that usually sees her fly over the competition and her rivals, both literally and figuratively.

Creative Antoine Adelisse
Freestyle skiing, slopestyle and big air
Always on the lookout for new playgrounds, Antoine quickly abandoned the more traditional disciplines to devote himself to freestyle skiing and develop his style on the snowparks. In 2014, at just 16 years of age, the young Plagnard secured his place at the Sochi Olympics, the first Games to include the slopestyle discipline. Despite a few forced breaks due to injury, Antoine approaches each competition more determined than ever.

Margot Boch, the heiress
2-man bobsleigh and monobob
A pusher grandfather and French champion with his crew in 1959, a pilot father: in the Boch family, bobsleigh is as much a passion as a tradition passed down from generation to generation. A former semi-high-level gymnast, Margot first turned to luge on the bobsleigh track at La Plagne. The young woman was quickly spotted thanks to her talent and her physical and mental qualities. At just 20 years of age, Margot became a French Team pilot in 2018. Since then, Margot has been racking up results in both single and 2-person bobsleds, faithfully accompanied by her teammate Carla Sénéchal. Both will shine in 2022, notably at the Beijing Olympics. And they've certainly not finished making headlines...

Romain Heinrich, the perfectionist
Bob à 2 and Bob à 4
Romain entered top-level sport at just 19. He quickly became one of France's top shot putters. 2011 marks a key turning point in his sporting life: seduced by the unique discipline of bobsleigh, and encouraged by his qualities as a pusher, he joins Loïc Costerg's crew and takes part in the Sochi Olympic Games. But that wasn't enough for Romain, who decided to move to the front of the bobsleigh and become a pilot. The challenge was met with flying colors, and he went on to enjoy a superb career alongside his crew, notably his pusher Dorian Hauterville. After a break of several seasons, Romain returns to competition in winter 2024-25 with the firm intention of once again reaching the highest level.

Ice climbing
Tristan, like his brother Louna, is first and foremost a passion for climbing and a freedom-loving state of mind. These are the values of this unique sibling whose life revolves around their passion for climbing. Tristan is both a supple and powerful climber, often powering through but no less effective for it. He's also a good climber with his hands, and doesn't mind using them to replace his ice axes from time to time. The two brothers regularly share the podium, taking La Plagne to the very top of the ice sports world.

Jérôme Gilloux, the unstoppable mountain biker
E-mountain biking
Jérôme discovered La Plagne in 2021 during the first edition of the MTB/e-MTB event, the Super Huit, and fell in love with this vast natural playground straight away.
A cycling enthusiast since he was a child, he started on trial bikes when he was six, encouraged by his parents. Eight years later, he started mountain biking. Together with his friends from the village, he joined the local club where he obtained his very first licence. After several years of cross-country mountain biking, he decided to change discipline and embarked on two intense seasons of “cycling” where he had the opportunity to compete in his first big races.
But, since it is not his style to stick to a single path, the future champion finally turned to enduro biking, where the technical experience he had acquired enabled him to perform well in e-mountain biking. After his first participation in the Super Huit, Jérôme was won over by the scenery, the wide open spaces and the convivial atmosphere in the resort with the red hat logo.
Since then, he has been visiting the region regularly; what he likes most in La Plagne is the fact that “there are always events going on that everyone can compete in, whatever their level”.
His goal for 2024 is to win back his World Champion title whilst keeping his title of World Cup winner. Jérôme has a tattoo with his favourite motto: “NEVER GIVE UP!”.

Yoann Stuck, the avid trail runner
Trail running
Yoann was born on 18 January 1983 in a village in the Vaucluse, before moving to Lyon a few years later.
However, it was on the peaks of La Plagne that he discovered his passion for trail running.
Every season, he starts off gently, running in the area he lives in, then he heads for the Alps where he excels on routes with demanding gradients.
He discovered the 6000D some 10 years ago, forging a strong family link with the resort in the summer. Even if he enjoys spending time in La Plagne year round, it was the family-friendly dimension that captivated him once he became a father.
At 40, the motto of his village, "obstacles only increase my passion", resonates with him. This mantra guides him, both on his life path and in his recent victories: the Ecotrail in Paris, the Trail des Pyramides Noires and the Ecotrail in Wicklow, Ireland. He will soon be closing his season with the Translantau in Hong Kong.

Rémi Berchet, the steadfast trail runner
As a child, Rémi did not like walking, running or anything really that required endurance.
Rémi started running when he was 24, with the sole aim of preparing for a winter season of freeriding. It was during these training sessions that he finally acquired a taste for the sport. A true mountain lover, he realised that trail running was his real passion.
He took part in his first race in 2009, throwing himself headlong into a course of 33 km and 2500m elevation gain. After some initial cramps and aches, he found the motivation and determination to start training daily, before taking on a 100km course 3 years later.
The results came thick and fast: 3rd in the 90km of the Marathon du Mont-Blanc, 5th in the Diagonale des Fous and 2nd in the Échappée Belle. Rémi is now proud to represent La Plagne, where he has been living for over 10 years. He knows his playground like the back of his hand!
He now has his sights set on the 6000D and the UTMB this summer.
