Leisure centre - Espace Associatif Cantonal

The EAC is run by a team of professionals and volunteers with the aim of preventing the isolation of local residents, reducing exclusion and strengthening relationships between people by involving them in group projects that allow them to play an active role in society in the Versants d'Aime area.

The EAC:
- Organises a supportive service for residents, families, informal groups or associations;
- Pays particular attention to families and vulnerable groups;
- Develops concerted, sometimes experimental social intervention initiatives tailored to the needs of the population and the local area;
- Implements an organisation and/or action plan aimed at encouraging participation and the assumption of responsibility by users and volunteers;
- Organises consultation and coordination with professionals and other players involved in social issues in the area.

The EAC runs:

- A leisure centre during the school holidays and after-school activities on Wednesdays
- A youth centre with drop-in sessions and a leisure centre (Wednesdays and school holidays).
- A nursery assistant service and a child/parent centre,
- A youth Information Point, accredited as a digital public space.

The EAC offers parent/child workshops, tutoring, sociolinguistic workshops, gym sessions for seniors, knitting sessions, board games, discussion evenings, outings, local events, etc.
