The (new) mega-exciting spring race for skiers and snowboarders with a bit of a hobby!
See you on Saturday 19 April 2025!
For full details of the event and registration, go to https://lamegabellcourse.com/fr
Set the clock ticking (if you can 😏) on the La Plagne ski area's all-new fun areas: the Funslope, the Riders Nation boardercross, the Stade Jean-Luc Crétier, the YUGE slalom, the La Rossa boardercross, the Fornelet obstacle course specially set up for the occasion, and so on.
Play to win. Just play. In short, do what you do best: have fun on your skis or snowboard!
✨ Mega prizes to be won ✨ Mega atmosphere guaranteed ✨ The Mega Bell offers
1 RACE, 2 FORMATS
Two race formats to choose from (S or XL) so you can take part with all the riders you like ❤️ From age 8 (red track level)
→ Format S: 3 mega-cool events
1/ THE MEGA WARRIOR
🏁 What is it? An obstacle course (with and without skis). You'll have to aim for the bull's-eye, pump up your biceps, and face the void (or play G.I. Joe by crawling under a net if stunts really aren't your thing - but if an 8-year-old can do it, so can you, right?). In short: show that you're a po-ly-va-lent rider!
😎 How do you dead this? A lucky charm might help to save a few seconds here and there (especially there).
📍 Where does it take place? At Fornelet, at the top of the Montalbert cable car (Montalbert sector)
📅 When are we training? The Mega Warrior event will be open to all on Friday 18 April 2025, from 10am to 3pm.
2/ ALL THE WAY UP
🏁 What is it? A descent on the Funslope, the longest fun run in Europe! On the programme: woops, banked turns, little jumps... In short, nothing too complicated (except that the course is 1750 metres long!).
😎 How do you dead-end it? Your starting point will be determined by chance. With a bit of luck, you'll start from ‘Tout là haut’ (and not ‘tout là-bas’...)
📍 Where is it? Head for Plagne Bellecôte. At the top of the Arpette chairlift
📅 When are we training? The Tout là-haut event will be open to everyone on Thursday 17 April 2025 from 10am to 3pm.
3/ THE BIG BATH
🏁 What is it? A giant slalom... that's a bit ‘crowded’ (two different routes depending on the S or XL format), and a waterslide at the finish!
😎 How do you dead this? Being mates with Léon Marchand might help...
📍 Where does it take place? At the Jean-Luc Crétier stadium (Plagne Centre sector)
📅 When do we train? No training: all talent! The Grand Bain is the only ‘surprise’ event in the Mega Bell Course 😉
4/ HERE WE GO
🏁 What is it? A giant slalom. Which could be even bigger than expected if you're unlucky with the dice...
😎 How do you dead this? Having a little talent at Mario Kart could be an advantage (or not)
📍 Where does it take place? On the YUGE slalom, at the top of the Golf chairlift (Plagne Aime 2000 sector).
📅 When are we training? The Here We Go event will be open exclusively to Mario, Luigi and Peach on Wednesday 16 April 2025 from 10am to 3pm.
5/ IT'S BOARDER
🏁 What is it? A completely border boarder(cross). Especially at the start. Let's just say that putting on your skis could take a while, or even a long time (but once you're on your skis, you'll be firing on all the - very - steep turns on the route). Be careful not to get flashed...
😎 How do you deadlift that? Having a slight squint could prevent you from completely hallucinating.
📍 Where does it happen? On the boardercross course at La Rossa (Champagny-en-Vanoise sector).
📅 When do we train? The C'est boarder event will be open to everyone on Tuesday 15 April 2025, from 10am to 3pm.
