The thrill of the heights for all levels near the gateway to the Vanoise National Park.
Consisting of 3 successive sections that get progressively more difficult. The 1st section allows beginners to learn the belaying techniques and is not difficult, particularly as there is an escape route. Not too high up, not too many metal steps, lines all the way, just watch out for falls of small rocks and earth.
The 2nd section (quite difficult) starts with a 50m vertical climb from where you can admire the valley below. An exposed ridge follows, then another vertical climb, finishing on a Nepalese suspension bridge that is slightly sloping at the far end! A second escape route takes you straight back down to the valley. It's high with metal steps and lines, and still the falls of small rocks!
The 3rd and final section (Difficult) is banked for about 15 meters and the next part, which is not very interesting, takes you to the plateau where you can join the "Les Lanches - Le Mont Pourri" hiking trail going towards "Les Lanches" to the left. Since 2002, there is another way of reaching the plateau: going left to the top of the via ferrata, a few cables then a short ladder taking you to a steep footpath that leads you directly to the car park.
The times below are indicative based on the following reckoning: 2 people of level D+, average age 40, in a quiet period.
