The Club des Sports (the local club for downhill skiing, freestyle and snowboard) is also a school for life, a sports education, a team spirit and enjoying sport in a fabulous mountain environment.
As well as training many champions, the club is proud to train its members for the different mountain professions that will offer them a career in their resort.
Several years ago, the club took a new sports direction with its "SCHOOL OF LIFE".
SELF-FULFILLMENT: contributing to the children's physical and psychological development
COMPETITION: taking part in competitions and training high level skiers.
TRAINING: preparing the club members for diplomas in mountain professions.
MUTUAL AID: teaching them the basics of respect, mutual aid, encouragement and exchange.
The club today is:
- Around 140 kids in competition.
- New for 2020: the opening of a pre-club from age 6
. 6 to 18 year olds: over 12 years of training with the club
- 11 club members in the French ski team: 3 in Alpine, 6 in freestyle, 2 in snowboard. The most represented club in the national Alpine and freestyle teams.
- A high success rate for the kids in the Grand Prix group in their professional exams
