10th edition of the "Blue Devils" ski mountaineering race

The tests :
Three types of test are available, and you can only register for one of them. You must specify on the registration form which one you wish to enter:

Competition format course:,
- Course A: 1,000 m ascent, accessible to those over 16.
Ascent => From the top of the Télébufette gondola to the summit of the Crête de la Tête des Arpettes. Rephoetize to climb Dos Rond.
Descent => From the summit of Dos Rond to the top of the Télébufette gondola. Off-piste descent on marked itinerary.

- Course B: 450 m vertical drop, accessible to 13-year-olds and over.
Ascent => From the top of the Télébufette gondola to the top of the Plan-Bois chairlift.
Descent => From the top of the Plan-Bois chairlift to the top of the Télébufette gondola. Descent on marked blue run.
This course is essentially reserved for non-licensed skiers (except for licensees born between 2007 and 2010, whose age does not allow them to compete on the grand course).

- Duo course: 1,000 meters of ascent, to be completed by two people.
Ascent => From the top of the Télébufette gondola to the summit of the Crête de la Tête des Arpettes. Rephoetize to climb Dos Rond.
Descent => From the summit of Dos Rond to the top of the Télébufette gondola. Off-piste descent on marked itinerary.
Please note: both competitors in the duo must cross the finish line together.

Discovery format course:
- Course A: 1,000 m vertical drop, accessible to those over 16.
Ascent => From the top of the Télébufette gondola to the summit of l'Arpette (statue of l'Ange).
Descent => On the marked blue run

- Course B: 450 m ascent, accessible to 13-year-olds and over.
Ascent => From the top of the Télébufette gondola to the top of the Plan-Bois chairlift.
Descent => From the top of the Plan-Bois chairlift to the top of the Télébufette gondola. Descent on marked blue run.

- Duo course: 1,000 meters of ascent for two.
Ascent => From the top of the Télébufette gondola to the summit of Arpette (statue of the Angel).
Descent => On the marked blue run
Please note: both competitors in the duo must cross the finish line together.

Competitors in all formats will take the same start at 9:00 am. Athletes are invited to the Salle Pignard des Coches on Saturday, March 21 from 7:30 a.m. for race number collection and briefing.

A morning snack and lunch are included in the registration fee.
New: Barrière Horaire course A & Duo: climb to Plan Bois in 1h30, Col de la Salla 2h30 and summit of Arpette 3h30.
Prizes will be awarded to the male and female winners of each course.

- Duo event to be completed in pairs on the Grand Parc only: parent and child (aged 16 and over), as a couple, with your best friend... Any combination is permitted, provided you start and finish with your partner.
- Each type of event - Solo Grand Parcours, Solo Petit Parcours or Duo Grand Parcours - can be run either in Discovery format (no ranking at the finish) or in race format with ranking.
The trophée d'Ussel / Garcia (a tribute to two Chasseurs Alpins who died in an avalanche) is awarded every year.

Registration:
- 25€00 per person for courses A and B
- 56€00 per Duo
Increase of 5€00 from Thursday March 19, 2026.
Registration closes on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 5pm.

Organization:
The race will start on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 9:00 am. Bibs can be collected from 7.30am at Les Coches (Salle Marcel Pignard at the top of the resort).
Each competitor must be equipped with an avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, survival blanket and helmet.
- If you do not hold a FFME/CAF license, you are required to complete a health form authorizing you to ski touring, as well as a personal insurance certificate covering this activity (also to be presented).
