Easy walk with snowshoes between Montalbert and Longefoy.
At D1 (see winter pedestrian map), take the path on the left, shared with itineraries A and B, for about 500m, then turn left again onto an almost level path. You'll overlook the village of Longefoy, with lovely views of the Versant du Soleil and the villages of Tessens, Granier etc.
Once you reach the road, go back up 50m and take the path on your right.
A little further on, you'll come to the small hamlet of Le Bois, with its pond at the entrance and its old chapel, no longer in existence. The path winds through magnificent birch, larch and spruce woods.
