1st part "Wunderkammer" show
2nd part "What a Wonderful world" show
Part 1: The concert takes its name from a German word meaning "hall of wonders". In the 16th century, a few wealthy European families began to collect, not in the systematic way that the encyclopedic cataloguing of the Enlightenment would later develop, but driven by the desire to own objects that evoked wonder, exotic animal skeletons, stuffed exotic birds, shells from distant seas, crystals, multicolored butterflies, relics of past civilizations that were then placed in "wonder rooms". These were the precursors of today's museums. Inspired by this non-systematicity, we composed a variety of musical pieces ranging from medieval ballads to fanfare for the court of the Sun King, from gypsy music to jazz, from flamenco to baroque, from pop to rock in a symphonic key... various musical genres tracing the history of music from the 13th century to the present day. On a recorded basis with the symphony orchestra (40 instrumentalists + 25 backing singers), we play live piano, keyboards, synthesizers and guitars.
Part 2: Film-concert "What a wonderful world": sounds and images in a tour of the most beautiful and emblematic places on our planet: mountains, waterfalls, forests, deserts, coral reefs, atolls, with a moment of reflection on contemporary catastrophes caused by man and a finale of hope in which music and imagination can save us.
