The 'Échappée Plagnarde' is a non-timed bike tour to be held in La Plagne on 21 August, 2026. It is open to all and offers several routes through the heart of the exceptional scenery of the Haute Tarentaise.

The 'Échappée Plagnarde' is a new cycle event that is to be held on 21 August, 2026 in the heart of La Plagne's exceptional scenery. Backed by a dynamic territory that hosted a stage of the Tour de France, this non-timed bike tour is part of the great cycling tradition of the Haute Tarentaise.
Open to all cycling enthusiasts, it offers a range of routes suited to different levels, allowing participants to discover the mountain passes and roads and the region's emblematic panoramas in a friendly and sporty atmosphere. The routes proposed include some sections of the region's most beautiful cycle trails, with climbs up to the high-altitude sites and breathtaking views of the Vanoise and Belledonne mountains.
Whether you are a hardened climber or a Sunday rider, each itinerary has been designed so you can enjoy the perfect experience. There are refreshment stands along the way and a festive atmosphere awaits you on arrival to celebrate the joy of cycling.
La Plagne shows a less well-known side in the summer: a resort that is the perfect playground for cyclists, with flower-filled mountain pastures, traditional villages and some of the most beautiful high-altitude roads in the Alps.
