An activity with real bite!
Cani Rando: an unforgettable family experience with Nordic dogs.
Equipped with a padded belt around your waist and a lead approximately 1.50 meters long, you are attached to the dog’s harness.
Once the harness and equipment are in place, and after spending some time getting to know the dog and receiving a brief theoretical explanation, the hike can begin—about 1 hour and 30 minutes for a half-day hike and over 3 hours for a full day.
You’ll learn to get to know and guide your canine partner, sharing the effort and enjoyment with him on the trails of Montalbert (elevation 1,300 m).
The dog will be your ally on both the ascents and descents, making for an even more intense experience!
A sporting activity in a mountainous setting.
Hiking on marked trails, over 10 km of active walking on a full-day hike (bring a picnic) and 5 km on a half-day hike.
Suitable for families; children must be at least 6 years old.
Children up to age 11 will be paired with a parent or a child of a similar age, and will therefore be attached to a single dog.
Not suitable for pregnant women and/or people with back problems or recent injuries (e.g., cast…).
Meet at the kennel, located 2 km above the La Plagne Montalbert resort in the direction of Route des Centres.
