Every year, from late March to May, Morges welcomes the arrival of spring with the unmissable Tulip Festival. In the idyllic setting of the Parc de l’Indépendance, on the shores of Lake Geneva, overlooking Mont-Blanc, more than 100,000 colourful tulips are in full bloom.
For over 50 years, this event has been enchanting visitors of all ages with more than 300 varieties of tulip planted with care by the local authorities.
It is a very special occasion as you stroll past the banks of flowers, taking superb photos and enjoying the peaceful springtime atmosphere in Morges.
Visitors can sample local specialities and refreshments from the food stands on site or stop for a gourmet meal by the lake.
The Tulip Festival is also an opportunity to discover the local heritage, to relax with family or friends and to celebrate the beauty of nature in the heart of the town.
