The showdown will be followed by a local farmers’ market and a tasting session
This high-calibre culinary show is open to the public, followed by a tasting session and a market featuring local producers.
A star-studded line-up
The line-up includes four Michelin-starred chefs (Thibault Sombardier, a former Top Chef finalist; Alexis Voisenet, a chef specialising in socially conscious and plant-based cuisine, former right-hand man to Guy Savoy and responsible for creating his dishes; Matthias Marc, a former Top Chef contestant; and Thibault Spiwack, who served as a culinary consultant on seasons 3 and 4 of the Netflix series). Other leading figures in French gastronomy are also featured, such as Yann Couvreur, a pastry chef renowned for his haute-couture creations; Abdel Alaoui, a street food and Moroccan cuisine chef, best known as a food columnist on Canal+, France 5 and Europe 1; Chiara Serpaggi, a judge on La Meilleure Boulangerie de France on M6; Yoann Grégory, a maître d’hôtel and Meilleur Ouvrier de France; and numerous former contestants from the Top Chef programme, such as Alexis Braconnier, Leo Renusson, Pierre Reure and Esteban Salazar.
On the local front, Haute-Savoie-based chef Kelly Jolivet is also taking part.
