Xplore Alpes Festival
Mark your calendars! The6th edition of the Xplore Alpes Festival will take place from October 24 to November1, 2026.
For the past six years, the Xplore Alpes Festival has been bringing the Tarentaise Valley to life every fall. Organized by a local association and a team of passionate volunteers, the festival celebrates the mountains in all their forms: adventure, culture, discussions, and gatherings.
On the program:
- Mountain, adventure, and outdoor films, presented by their directors and protagonists.
- Talks and roundtable discussions to reflect on major mountain issues: transition, tourism, mobility…
- A friendly and festive atmosphere, brought to life by locals and volunteers: screenings, meet-and-greets, activities, music, and moments of togetherness in the villages of the Tarentaise.
More than just a festival, Xplore is a unique gathering to marvel, find inspiration, and imagine together the mountains of tomorrow.
This year, the adventure begins in Aime-La-Plagne with a roundtable discussion titled “JOP 2030: What Kind of Games Do We Want for Our Region?” to kick off the discussion, followed by screenings of the films “Les Hautes Heures,” “Cold Was the Ground,” and “Mère de Glace.”
