"Grandeur nature" presents the local wildlife that brings our immediate surroundings to life but which can be so discreet…
The diversity, beauty and strength of animal life is an infinite sourse of observation, study and wonder. Our responsibility requires us to respect all living beings, which in some way are a part of ourselves.

This exhibition also pays tribute to these photographers in the field. They all have the same experience: the hours of waiting and patient lookout, the deceptions and furtive opportunities…There is also, of course, their experience and background that makes an animal familiar, even intimate.

"The day will come, and sooner than we think, when the degree of civilisation will not be measured by the hold we have over
nature, but by the quantity and quality, the extent and the wildness of nature that we allow to remain". Robert Hainard, Défense de l’image. Genève 1967.
