Jean Percet | Pastels & illustrations
Since he was a child, Jean Percet has been drawing and painting.
Now aged 86 and tireless, he still loves to sit at his easel or drawing board every morning, as he has done nearly every day for the past 44 years. He used to work as a publishing illustrator, then as a set and costume designer for theatre, opera and film.
He has created hundreds of works. Some twenty of his recent pastels and the illustrations for two of his major artist's books, Alice&Cie, based on Lewis Caroll and Homer's Iliad, will be on show.
